    Default Truth is...

In Northern California, Dan Schwartz has an SST 120...and that is all I know about in Region 11.

In Region 12. US1, John Marles has a Lee that he hasn't run since the last Formula One race in Laughlin...3 years ago.

The guy that bought Chad's red Lee lives in Minnesota.

And the guy that bought Chad's Black Lee lives in Pomona and it has sat in his backyard since he brought it home from Bakersfield in 1997.

John Lane wrecked his two Mod U, Grand Prix boats and sold his 120 Gran Prix.

Dino Kotsonis moved to Michigan with his tunnel boats and sold them anyway.

Jason Campbell lives in Phoenix and only races at ChampBoat races.

Todd Bowden races at all ChampBoat races.

Ron Wilson sold his Seebold to Carlos Kuri in 1998.

Greg Foster's DAC's, Hoffman, and Seeblods that the Wentz had have all been sold OUTSIDE CALIFORNIA...

So, where are the capsuled Boats in SoCal??? We have a bunch of SST 45's that race in club races and the Western Formula Lights Series...

Chad and I both LOVE the Formula 150 Rules...but, it isn't in the cards, right now, to run Formula 150...plus, Chad was less than 8 pounds over weight in 45...So, he may have a chance to run pretty well there...and every Series Races has had 15 or more boats...

    Default side note

@ Bakersfield, I overherd Dan Shwarts say his rig is "for sale" .
Reason was lack of boats to race with on the West Coast

yea I'd like to see Dan bring his boat up here and leave it. Plenty of racing around here.

I thought there were more boats than that down there. Wasn't SST-140 a big class in California?

    Default Us1...

Want to sell your boat? Is Chad's (Hill) old Signature boat still in Pomona???

    Is it For Sale??

I sometimes think we should go back to what Ted Zahorski did with the Yamaha. He ran a short mid section with a production case....seems they may have won Parker with this set up...

But, a Production Gearcase would be fast enough for ME!
