I posted this befor the nat meeting and the romors were true a merc 4stroke 4cly sst60.They call it a F4 boat and motor combo. It comes in 15`` and still meet tree huger standards.I had the spec sheet somewhere but cant find it. But anyway the thing is big like way heavy and sounds like a real dog!

pretty cool looking. Almost reminds me of a Gordie Miller boat where you had to wear sunglasses to look at it..

    Default sst 60

Someone needs to rig up a etec 90 evinrude. I'd be curious to see how it would compare to a sst60 or an old SE 75 omc.

thats a 60hp 4 stroke hull, in no way could it stay with a SST60 hull.

the 75hp E-tec is massive compared to even the SST60.
have yet to see a short shaft in any of them, thinkin thats the holdup.

No, that was "Buckwheat" of little rascals/our gang fame. Later in life, he turned Muslim, and changed his name to "Kareem of Wheat".............MP

The E tec would be a good choice but the gear case is the limiting factor&the shaft lenght.I`ve been trying to get them into racing since they came out and now the 2cly Etec are a proitonary motor in Super light tunnel hull class. But the gear ratio is all wrong for racing but it`s a start!!!!
