No Capsule Suit, No Race!

I have an older Lifeline Jacket, and it is very unsafe to use in a capsule boat. So, I am off to FL on Tues without a suit, and will not drive unless I have one. I am told there will be a lot used stuff for sale at the different races, so I guess I'll have to take a chance on the flea markets. I'm still going, but might end up being a cornor worker or spotter. I have lots of experience doing both.

About how big are you. I have one but I'm 5'8" and 130lbs.

lifeline and security
are the main 2 capsule jackets that apba inspectors are used to seeing and importantly ,,,inspecting
other brands get looked at harder for the tags minimum requirements
and may have a controversy over it,,,,,
best to stay with what others are using,,,less hassle at inspection
and proven to work,,,,,,,,,,

most use a 1 piece 1 layer nomex driving suit from summit or jegs magazine
are the cheapest to use to get started around 100.oo
look good and not too hot,,,,wash it a bunch of times to get it soft
can get something custom made in the future
if your going for looks,,,,,

got to remember the more layers the hotter it gets in the capsule
an unconfortable when strapped down TIGHT,,,,,
with all 5 belts adjusted with equal tension,,,
then tightened again at dock ,,,,,before racing,,,
got to stress not to be loose in seat
