    Default 2015 BBRA season

As we prepare for the upcoming season were thinking about getting an exhaust system for our Yamato 102. If anyone has a full system for sale send me a note on it. We use a 302 for A and C and we could put the engine back in racing trim.

    Default Special tool

Back in 1969 when I started Aeroliner Marine Inc. and I became a Mercury Dealer you were required to order a standard parts kit along with the required tools needed to meet the Mercury dealership requirements. In my initial shipment of parts this special tool was included. Only recently did I discover the use for this unique tool! My assumption was that it was to be used with some of the items in the parts room shown below. Most of my friends that visit the new hobby shop verified the use of the device.

Forgot another item of information needed to understand this post. Last year David and I became Electromotive ignition dealers for our Aeroliner Boats LLC business. In our initial Electromotive parts and tool order a similar device was provided. I assume the tool must have a ton of different uses.

    Default Hydro repair progress

Yesterday we put down the last of the carbon. All in all it went down quite easy. Today we put the fist west filler coat down and trimmed off all the excess carbon fiber. Tomorrow we will do the first sanding and add an additional coat of West. Seen as Kaylee will run C MOD with our Y-102 we added the carbon to the sponsons. After the bottom is finished the top side will get a new blue metallic paint job.
