Size: 193.6 KBLast week David and I bought a trailer load of Merc Parts and engines. We are sorting them out now but when that is done we will have lots for sale. PM me or call 337-304-0379. Quick note: knee replacements are doing great and I am back working in the shop.

you could melt all that down and make something nice

seriously that is a lot of race parts there, nobody can say they cannot get stuff if they ever come to you.

Let the melting begin! LOL David and I work hard to keep race parts in circulation. In fact we manufacture most of the lower unit parts for the quicksilver Merc units, 2 cylinder gasket sets, Parker towers, electronic ignition systems, Parker exhaust systems and some race hardware. Try our website: aeroliner-boats.com to get an idea of what we do. If you have a need for something give us a call and if we don't have it we will try to find it for you. We also do restorations and specialized machine work through Doug Kay

    Thanks,
    Alan

some of those older motors are works of art.
might not be as fast as todays motors, but so much more craftsmanship went into them.
and those your building realy do look like something to be admired in a museum.
nice to see someone keeping the old girls going.

    Default Mercury 10XS

Though I would post a couple photos of a new Mercury 10XS that has never been run. Now have the complete set. 44XS, 25XS and 10XS. Mercury it is believed made 100 of these little engines. 25 were sold the rest were destroyed. The factory converted some to alky but the class never took off.

I would be surprised if 10 original engines are left.
Here is the Pro J class boat that they did race, which has made its way to North Carolina from California.

Is that one of the boats that was a part of the Doc Collins fleet in California?
