    I know its Mercury Kd3 but anyone know anything about this boat?

    John - Welcome to BRF! I would guess you little speedster is a home built unit built sometime during the 1950's maybe early 60's. Nice looking lake racer. Anyone else have any ideas as to the make?

    Looks like a Popular Mechanix type magazine plan boat. Pretty well executed, but probably not a competitive racer, more the "cottage racer" style

    The dash/cowl is the give away

    A perfect boat for the KD3!
    Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.
