Default More from the F1-V8 race in Stockholm 1983

In a racing incident in the second heat I lost my boat cowling..
My good friend Alan Nimmo from GB let me use his Molinari cowling..
    He had an engine problem..

Well..the Molinari cowling did not fit perfect..but duct tape as always fixed that problem..no time to change race number..but the officials know that boat 8 was now boat 15

Those early V-8's were tall and enormous. Surely the boats handled much better when OMC came out with the newer version, which put the powerhead like 8 inches lower with a redesigned mid section. Correct me if I am wrong but didn't these early V-8's have 8 two barrel carburetors?

All F-1 V8 drivers got the engines from Gary and Second Effort from the middle of the 1983 season.
I never used twin plug heads..maybe in the US F1-V8 tour 1986 and up..
