PS for Lars. Following me, Hans speaks some Norwegian.
PS for Joe Rome, since he got you guys into driving suits-Hans is wearing my 1979 Indy Hinchman suit.

The new Evinrude power of the future..2015 E-TEC G2.

I am back home after a fun weekend in Milwaukee with BRP and Evinrude.
Being an Ambassador for Evinrude is a great honor. (The first production outboard ever built 1909)

A short review of the weekend.

The BRP management asked for a new aggressive design so you can tell it is an Evinrude outboard from long distance.

The engineering department went back in the Evinrude history book and looked at the successful racing rotary.
You can see many similarities here.

Your's is a fun thread to read Lars, with many great photos and pictures and stories behind the scenes that not only you tell, but your friends like Jackie Wilson, Steve Pinson and others. No wonder your thread is such a great success. My question is though, it looks like you are maybe dancing to some great music. What songs and artists did you listen to in those days? I know you were friends with ABBA, and I thought they were great, but who else?

    Thanks Master Oil Racing Team..

Well..Pretty sure it was ABBA, the group was very popular in Sweden already 1973 and the year after the won big with the song Waterloo.
Even better when ABBA got involved with Evinrude and my racing 1974.
