Many thanks for these teriffic stories and photos Lars.

It must be very time consuming trying to recall the information, translate, type and to find and scan all the photos that appear in your posts.

The efforts of all concerned are very much appreciated.

Thank you so very much, mintominto

I see you are from England.

Lots of good and fun Boat racing memories from GB.

Bought at least 10 boats from David Burgess, and they where all very good.

Nottingham, the row boat stadium was one of my favorite places and I raced there 5 times.
London's Victoria Docks was another place, but always ruff.

Raced in Cardiff a few times and then the very interesting Bristol race in Wales.

Bristol was one tough race, and they need to race there again.

One more place, I do not remember the name, but like a Lake and the name of
the Hotel was Barons Court I think.
    Raced there 1980 and 1981.

There was so many Drivers from GB years ago, and here is some I remember racing with at different
    times.

    Roger Jenkins
    Tom Percival
    Bob Spalding
    Nick Cripps
    Allan Nimmo
    John Hill
    Ricky Frost
    Fiona Brothers
    Jonathon Jones
    Jackie Wilson
    Mark Wilson
    Andy Bullen
    Andy Eliott
    James Beard
    and many more...

Here is a late Christmas Card from Lars.

    Fast Fred,

My brother Lennart and a German driver used/tested this, and I was told it worked pretty good
but I have to ask them about the rest of the parts.

    Hi again FF,

I do not remember, but we put the regulator as close as possible to
    the engine.

I think we used the standard pressure or what Ric McChesney
    told me to use.

I dont recall fuel pressure was a problem using gas, but in
Europe methanol was legal and used that on and off for years.

Methanol kills everything, even the driver......
but when you get it right and only one pinion i the lower unit,
    my F3 was flying...

Lars, was there a big difference in the Mod50 run overseas and the Mod50 that was raced in the states?
