    i purchased a new block for omc 56ci. the numbers on the tag read g2579447
    can anyone tell me the year of the block and if its split port? i believe it is a 70 hp, but not sure? any help would be greatly appreciated!

    i looked at some i got, oval port had a g25xxxxx number
