U will be able to get those at the race. I'm sure someone will have extra so you can borrow them.

    Russ,
You can go without the white pipe, it is a guide for helping you put the H2O tube in the correct place. The part #'s are Sleeve - 23-8476852 Last year's Retail was $28.70, Splined Washer - 12-39701 $8.99

    Default saturday

the sst45s and 120s race on saturday only according to john s
tris and jet skis are sat and sunday

    rus
    the white pipe,,,,,
is a guide for the water tube
    it has a perpous
it fits snugly inside the water pump housing and (holds seal down and in place)while installing gearcase
ALWAYS use 1 ,,,no matter what ,,,,,,,,,it guides the copper tube into the seal smoothly

and put a dab of grease or any lube spray on rubber seal in water pump housing before installing
installing without the guide tube is taking a chance of knicking the rubber seal
and have it get cut or worse of popping it crooked and blocking or not sealing
and fry motor from lack of water,,,,,,,,,,,

and these white pipes come with stock production merc v6 water pump kits
any merc shop should have them laying around new and used

    i have extras of them
and also have extras of the springed star prop washer
i can order you a couple from merc racing div if you want me to

    see yall at bryan

Yep, Randolph burned up a powerhead from a blocked water tube,, same issue , pinched the seal and blocked off the water. Didn't notice before it was too late

Good info John, I didn't realize the guide tube was a must. Fairchild gave me one last year to help with the alignment of the water tube, before that I ran without it not knowing any better...guess i got lucky!

    yea
using that cheap little piece of plastic tubing is a
for sure shot that the copper pipe goes inside the seal
and not hit the top edge of seal and pinch it when guide is not there

ID of pipe is same size as seal entry ID
then with pipe sliding in pump housing it stops on top of seal
to hold it and keep it in position for tube to go inside smoothly

also easier to get gearcase on
with the extra length of the tube

can put the case on 1 or 100 times and never mess up
    but that 101 sucks

i have my guide tube siliconed into the pump housing
and my water pipe siliconed to tuner
with a bead ran around the outside
never loose them,,,get out of alignment,,,,or fall off,,,
only 1 connection to seal when install case,,,,,and always a straight in shot not to miss
