made 95hp, it'll bolt right on, close off the top two water pickup holes. under 200lbs

FT's are white, no nose cone, Nitro foot. would have to say some one built that one on ebay, no sure on the front half on the ebay one, dose look to have the right exhaust, fly wheel is wrong, but thats ok, compresion should be at least 180psi a cross.

The main attraction of the motor was that it had a short shaft midsection but could still be raced in the standard production classes that were the prevalent in Australia at the time. The Merc 650xs was around at the same time but couldn't get anywhere near the performance of the OMC triples.
Bruce are you sure the ones your dad sold had the 3 two-barrel carbs?

Fred, thanks for pointing out that it doesn't have what is known as the correct FT flywheel in the US. I am leaning toward thinking it is a collection of parts and not a 100% accurate (Australian or otherwise) version of the FT. I wonder how much power a std 75 would make by just changing to the 3 2's front ... probably not the 95hp of the higher compression, ported FT.

without the finger ports, and the exhaust ports and plates it will not make the power on the top, but with short rods it will make good low end and mid.

Well if you look at the pics closer, I would say those are the wrong carbs, they're not 1", the intake manifold for the 2's bolts on to the stock front half so that isn't an OE motor, the flywheel is the 72 65hp so that motor is a conglomeration of parts.

Stinger 75hp, and the FT 19s are two separate motors. dose look like thare is a plate to bolt the 19s intake to the stock front 1/2, thare is to many bolt bosses
on that front 1/2 to be a Stock 19s front. with out true Mod50 carbs she will never run right, they do look like Mod50 carbs , they made biger carbs than 1" for it.

I seen that engine on ebay, it's back on, or was, I may be putting one of my 75 stinger powerheads on the market soon as I need to fund another engine , My 75 stinger powerhaed has the triple 2 barrel carbs on it, fred knows the one, would cost a great deal to get it from Oz to the US

    I'll figure it out
