No Charlie's Jones is with him in Oklahoma, he also has the K500 of Drew Backlunds and both maybe for sale! This 'Olympia' sponsorship was the work of Drew Backlunds Dad at B and B Distributing of Spokane, he sponsored many races in the day. Someone must know this purple boats history.

I would love a picture of this boat! Also the whereabouts. I have been searching these forums for any info on it, If in fact it is the "catch22". This later became my fathers boat, and I was very curious about it. Does it or did it have any camouflage under whatever color it is now? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Kevin

I guess it was totally stripped of color and professionally painted black with candy stripes by a 'PUGH' custom painter. But some of the mustard yellow remains ... I will try to get pictures of the hardware and cut down stringers. It had deck crash damage if that helps. Both deck upright plywood was repaired many many times.

Here is one for sale just like Charlie. Made from a Jones mold, this light weight one is price way too low! A perfect E boat!

Here's a jones star fire I've seen for sale many times up here. It's running a ford fe off the snout and looks to be a long deck. Would make a good circle boat.
