    Default Yamato Model 28 1953-55 Model 30 1956-60

Looking for one of these early para-mutaul Japanese motors, They were a direct copy of a Mercury KG7H brought to Japan by Tom Inge, any Parts, literture or any information is welcome.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Direct copy ... with those improvements I noted on the antique forum
Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.

    Default Yamato Model 28 & 30

Direct copy, I should have said, KG7h inspired of course as one can see by the pictures, they had many differences. I do not know how they compared in performance to the KG7H but as they were not pared against each other, we will never know. I heard that Carl was not overly put out by these early yamato copies.
