    i only know of one yamaha moda that comes outa the box with no limiter. but you can disconnect the rest of them.

    i'm goin to ask u a question, is there special wire colour to disconnect for? izzit same colour for all the motor. i'm still green about this all.

    white wire, comes out of the box and makes a loop and goes back in, on the older style 40-50hp thares a tang on the back of the box just move it over to off, as in revlimiter off

    yes, move it over. them screws can be real tight, can be best to grab them with a set of grips to brake them loose.

    Mine is 40hp 3cyl yammie (1988) outboard,

    My Q is How to advance the timing? by mag or flywheel or any other way?

    the screw on the bottom of the seesaw controls the max advance.
    find TDC and line up the pointer first.

    seesaw= the arm hooked to the mag plate, with the two screws in it, top screw controls the low side or pickup timin.
