3.Tord Rossen of Sweden at full speed in the 1968 International.He held the lap record with Doug Willey and Artur Zartmann of Switzerland .. all breaking it at this fantstic meeting.
4.The first catamaran to race at Oulton Broad - 1968- The Mercury powered Schulze of Patrick Atkinson
5.Toby Sutton's "ROOSTER" was built in 1953 by Albatross Marine to a Ventnor design powered by a Wayne Chevrolet engine. Toby raced it regularly until the tragic night in 1960 when the boat exploded and became an inferno.
'Rooster' held the lap record from 1953 to the mid 1960s and was ahead of it's time.
The aluminium hull has been restored and is now on display at the National Motorboat Museum Pitsea, Essex.

Ive never seen that hydro, but we had a spectacular roll from a 700cc laydown on thursday evening. Boat and driver coming through OK.
