    Ken,
    Interesting project. Just curious:
What make of hull is that?
Also how wide is the tunnel and what prop are you running?
    Thanks! Bill

    Bill,
The hull was made on the big island (Hawaii) in 1997. I traded my shifter kart for it, about four or five years ago. It's all fiberglass and foam. I believe the builder was Tom Hamilton. I live on the main island, Oahu.
It started out with a Nissan 40c (fried it, no low water pickup), then an Evinrude 60 w/ Big Foot nosecone and later switched the powerhead to an Evenrude 70 powerhead.
    The tunnel is 38" wide. I am running a Ron Hill, 4 blade cleaver, 12 5/8" X 30". http://www.boatracingfacts.com/forum...ead.php?t=7299
The prop has 1 or 2 inches too much pitch for my tired stock powerhead. I'm running a 12/29 gearcase, so my top end is only 51.9 mph @ about 5100 rpm.
If you are interested, email your address to me, and I'll send you a copy of a dvd I made for Ron.

    Ken
