    Default 50 johnson

The transom bracket is yamaha pro 50, the steering arm and all other stuff is johnson 60.
I went to the machine shop and had some bronze bushings made. The bushing took up the od and id slack.
looking for any thoughts or hints. I am about to install on scat cat tunnel.

Ive got a 72 50hp Evinrude & found by curiosity that a stainless prop from an OMC 115 would fit the shaft & needed a minor change to bolt on,, made that thing come alive! Adds to your selection options anyway.

    Default prop it

Tried a 13" X 25P SE PROP on a 1986 twin and it worked much better than the 11-1/4" x 21P, Engine was set at 22" above the pad.

    Default Slip On Hub...

IS that "Slip on Hub" made out of one piece of aluminum??? Back when Howard Pipkorn was running SE, I made some slip on hub from aluminum billets...actaully, Donnie Spencer made them for me...I made a prop for Howard that I called "Jack the Bear"...much like the one in the picture...Howard won the SE World Championships in Beloit (I think) about 1976....

    ADD:

We made the for Fj and SJ also...worked good to prevent "BLOW OUT"...

I had to cut bottom pans to make them fit.

I am not sure that any work has been done to it or not. I got this prop given to me years ago. It may be like the old saying "you get what you pay for"
