    Default Remembering Lodi Part II

In response to our earlier postings about Lodi. Tim Dwyer has provided some great visuals from the last years at that beloved venue. They help us recall the small access ramp with the boat launching for heats off Parsons point. Also the thrill of well filled fields of stocks, alkies and sport C's competing on one of the tighest, closest and most spectator-friendly courses on the west coast.

I have scanned the best of the bunch that work well for the net but Tim has many more.

Lets find a way to get back to racing at Lodi!!

The Lodi News Sentinal saw fit to revise "Hauenstein" into the less familiar and incorrect "Havenstein"for reasons known only to them. Also, I think it was Mike that rode for Klemm that day, if my unrelieable memory serves me correctly. That error may have been a result of whose personalized life jacket was being worn by the brave victim who showed up to ride for the Duck.

Default How About Lodi at Night???

Greg Foster would bring his freeway light up and we could race at night, while the air was a cool 110....

    What do you think???
