Try opcracing.com. Look at suppliers page. All the active builders are listed there.

It looks like Pittman race plans and Pugh Boat works are the ones still making SST 60 boats...

Lee - according to the site doesn't anymore
Yehaa - doesn't make boats anymore
Flyer - doesn't make boats anymore
Halliday - doesn't make boats anymore
Burgess - doesn't make boats anymore
Toth - doesn't make boats anymore from what i read on another post...

I could be wrong... everyone on the board will probably know better...

Default Vic Brinkman has an SST 70...

Vic Brinkman was showing someone how to bid on E-Bay and he bought a complete SST 70. An SST 70 is a V-6 Merc with only three pistons, the other three are blocked off...

Anyway, the boat is basically an SST 60 boat with a Seebold capsule...He wants $4,000.

The Speedmaster is a number 6, but the ratio is not for SST 120, it is like 13:16. The mid section is an old style, up and down is mechanical. Nice trailer, Vic says.

Vic is in Grass Lake, Michigan but will attending the Stock Winter Nationals in Louisiana. He wants $4,000 for the boat, motor and trailer... I feel the mid section is worth $1,500 and gearcase $1,000. They might bring more, if you paid $4,000 and sold the parts for $2,500, you'd have a boat, powerhead, and trailer for $1,500. IF the crank is good in the Merc, you'd have about $500 more in value of stuff to sell.

If I bought the mid section and gearcase, Ernie Dawe could bring it home for me...(Ernie brought a D Mod mid section home for me, and I forgot to put the tail gate up and lost it...)....

Someone might know about the number VI ratio...

    Or, for $4,000 you'd have a nice SST 70.

Vic keeps it in his shop's show room, says it is good looking...
