Q: How do you get to Ron Hill's house?

Answer: Just follow the trail of engine parts....

    But really....
Sorry to hear you lost the mid, Ron. But I'm sure you'll find another...

This belonged to announcer George Young. I think he told me that Mark Schmerbauch drove it a few times but not real sure.

On 9-14-2007 I got pics of that exact boat. the price was 2750.00 Complete This came from a Kevin Ladd at toyota *&^%$#*(. He never responded to my emails. Why is it alsmost 2 years later and the price went to 4000.00. I just had a few small delays in my funding about a month I should be right again. Lets keep in touch, I want and will get a boat, Thats a fact! Thanks for the help. Oh, how much power was made from the 1/2 V6 motors?

Default Not Really Sure About A Few Things!

I do know that Kevin Ladd was a BRIGHT SPOTfor boat racing. He was killed in February 2008 in a snowmobile accident.

I don't know prices but boat was always Vic's, never Kevin's. Vic told me he was playing with his computer and showing someone how to bid, on E-Bay, and bought the boat.

I also know that a gentleman from England contacted me about buying this boat and I sent him Vic's e-mail.

I was told this weekend that the boat would make a good SST 60 boat...

What is 1/2 a V-6? I personally thought it was a SUPER CLASS. By the time I knew what it was I was no longer OPC Chairman, but maybe I could not have saved it anyway...

One draw back of the class an SST 60 could beat it, sometimes and there are PUREST in this world that think that if you own an SST 60 you must race SST 60.

What I would have done had I been a CZAR, I would have allowed SST 70 to become Formula 75 and used the motors rules for Larry Swinford's Formula 150 class. But who needs a lot of boats running around the course when there are no engine rules? The next thing you'd know is motor inspectors wouldn't have anyone to DQ...

Seed in up an SST 70 to Formula 75, then SST 60 would not win as easy...Then you could have a MOD 50 type motor be legal too....But who would be interested in Modifying a three banger OMC???? (Motor than 35,000 views her on BRF for http://www.boatracingfacts.com/forum...ead.php?t=2052 ). Could anyone see this...Modified V-6 Mercs, racing modified OMC three bangers??? Never work...too much fun!

Some how I don't think this boat, motor and trailer was ever offered for $2,750.....Seems a year ago I was going to buy the motor from Brinkman on propeller trades...

Good luck in whatever you do...If I had this mother, I'd find me a 2.5 fishing block and build a fast Formula 75, even though there ain't no class!

IF I remember correctly, the last year they ran SST-70 at Kankakee...... There was no SST-60 that beat that boat. George had it running good that year and Mark Schmerbach drove it to a National title with ease. That was 2004. Michael Floyd was second in Trent Hancocks boat.

Wow, I could never understand how people can remember races from way back when. I can't tell you who won what last year, but I can remember that SST-70 race from 2004. I must be getting old.
