    Default Ron Hill Here!

    Yamonster...

Where you at on buying this boat? I may have a chance to sell a boat in Louisiana and need to make some plans..

No matter how I cut it, I don't need this boat...the motor, mid section and gearcase I can use...

My advice for river racing...Cut the top off the damn capsule and run your Yamaha!!!!

In my avitar, 19-C with my D Konig, is running 88 MPH in the picture.....no capsule!

Yamonster, would a 13 foot Sport C work for you? I have John Rinker's (Terry Rinker's Uncle) old Sport C sitting in my barn and would like to get rid of it. It is a non-belted, pre-enclosed capsule boat that I was going to use for Lake fun. Price can be VERY reasonable.

It has been repainted in a red/white Marlboroesque scheme and needs to be re-rigged. All the parts are there, but it is a project for me now. I'll post pics if you want.

    Thanks,

    Steve.

I think that the 90 would be too much weight for that hull, and too much power also. Post it any way, we always have folks asking me for boats. Better than that P.M. me with the details first. Pic and price.

Nice little ride, kinda good looking, it's only 12ft. I saw it withing minutes of the guy posting it. great price too. I think that would be dangerous at only 12ft. What do you all think? Then No history of that hull. If I go with a commom hull, people would know if it can handle the desired speed. That guy claims to make good speed, but no one has ever saw one in action. What are yall thought on that one. Oh and thanks Howie

He is in the process of buying a true SST60 boat. His plans are only to drag race so he wanted the extra protection of the full capsule. Mike Byrd is the owner and its in Tabor City NC, he says the boat was incredibly stable with the 60 motor on it and never had any issues with it. I think it should work out well for you, it won't have the full capsule so the safety is better as other people have stated, and at that price it is reasonable even if it didnt work out with your 90.
