    Default KONIG M/Cs

There must be a number of 500 and 700cc m/c's out there, as Konny in CZ [] is producing parts for them. Here is the ignition page. I hear the Phelon[?] coil used in the VC
    is NLA.

    PRICE LIST 2007 - IGNITION
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We prepare new digital batery ignition for König motorbike engines.
Ignition will be available from February 2007.
    Here is ignition wiring:

    Default BMW K5oo/1

    Hey Guys,
to tell you the thruth I own one of two ever build BMW-König.
You all know my father Hans he bought the bike in the early 70"s from Dieter.
This bike followed me my hole life. When I was 5 years old me and Peter König
got out of the Moto Gp circus our first motorbikes.Dieter brought from "La Villa" who build them.At the same time I used to go with my father on the
BMW-König K500/1.In the 70"s it was an absolutely attraction .
The bike was unbeatable for an streetbike at this time.
The top speed was over 220 km/h.
In the 80"s I partly restored it after Hans forgot to let the water out of the
cooling system. This was first time i drove it.
For me it was strange because I was getting used to my Yamaha RD500.
This bike was strange in view of the gearbox with an dry clutch like in the org.
BMW90s.Everytime you change gears it goes up and down thats probably
why they call these air cooled BMW"s (rubber-cow).
Lately Hans wants to sell it and he asked how much he could asked for it.
The bike sadly wasn"t in such good shape but some guy wants to give round
    about 14.000 DM for it.
I asked Hans do you need to sell it?And he said no.So I told him that it keeps
so many rememberings even on Dieter that I would like to keep it.He said yes
you are right. We kept the bike and displayed it on an friends hotel at the
"Baltic Sea".One year after Hans died I spent my holiday with my family there
an i wanted to look after the bike but it wasn"t on display any more.
I asked our friend were the bike is gone and he said it is on an safe place.
This place was an old hotel empty without any heater and high humidity.
The bike looks terrible everywere rust the aluminum had oxide everywere
the brakesystem was completely broken.....with other words I needed to
    restored completely.
That is what I did and I finished it exactly one year ago.
It looks beautyful now and it took me many hours and much money to get
it back now better than it ever was.
Here is an Link about an articel in an big BMW Magazin:http://www.winni-scheibe.com/ta_mark...igtourer08.htm
If someone is interessted in more even pictures or technical stuff let me know.
I show up with pictures out of the 70"s later.
By the way Peter König still got the 350cc.
