Hey fred i have a straight in front for sale.. Its in 'parts other' need one ??
fred i would like to see you put that on a alum flat and see how it would run would be fun playing with something diffrent but boat looks cool
Explain that sail boat rigging to me.
Negate torque steer
What do u do with the free end of the line in the cockpit?
You have good taste in 'green' motors
Thought 1st that big one was an RD13,
but now thinking maybe S-A 30?

I bet the unseen end of the steering line is going to the tiller ... all the rest of the steering rigging is torque amplification from the tiller input, so he is still steering via the tiller, but with some leverage assistance.
I did not know Sam Hemp raced inflatables (that's supposed to be a compliment Sam).
Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.
it goes up to a suspended slip cleat, then cross the boat right in front of where i sit, so i can adjust for torque steer on the fly, if i need more ya just pull up on the bungee, less ya just give the line a snap and send the tension out, all of it or some of it.
it works to keep the boat straight for miles, with out it not thinkin you would make a mile, before you had to stop till you could feel your arm again

should be good for 80mph or so. Aquarius is about the fastest hull, ceasar makes a good hull, one of them hulls would be needed, 1000cc or less
