I completely agree. Each block is easily identifiable

you all just wondering about the 56 incher sleeves now i dove into it years ago when mike did his mod,,,, i talked to ron anderson,,, who if ya dont know that name is a walking 2 stroke and x raceing engineer for merc and makes the champ boat engines now,,,,,, he told me the different ports just improve midrange power...... the 56er also has a closed exhaust side,,,, and doublerowe main crank bearings,,,,, same front case as our 49er,,, and carbs...wow tim if i ran that prop dont think ide get on a plane hehehehe,,, probably why i go threw a set of gears a season.... mcdanials pistons deff better me just stock wiseco pistons for the 49er...as far as form-e/850 modifications seeming to get lively,,, hec its about time,,, ithink,,,, i set the kilo in "97... expected it tobe broke by now but maybe soon,,,, the 3/4 mile record was set by a 6cyl merc i belive... i dont think the mods we doing any thing special as a whole,,, ya couple front cases but that the exception,,,, hec my normal motor still run about 92 mph,,,,, i think the boat tech needs to be addressed more,,, my last boat i built was 40 inches wide best turning boat ive had in form-e,,,, if i build another prob willbe 42 inches wide ,,,, at least that what my sodo dad told me to build...ie ed karelson,,,,, my pugh is good at 38 wide but deff need wider...

    Default Feh

Im gonna be running FEH starting this year, I got a motor that davidL6 was selling pretty much ready to go.Talked to lopez and got a overdrive unit he was selling, and a new komato gearfoot with prop! All to go on a 12'5 apel hydro for alittle over five grand! Not that bad compared to the rest of the mod racing we do! Hopefully my stuff will be in the hunt? Starting a new class theres always alot to learn and i plan on it! Dustin TGR

    Default crank

For E, you want the stock one, the hev. one, the light one or the one like a Konig an don't say this one was not made, it was. This is just fun, but I know all of them were made. Did OMC have a back door? The 3 # hole OMC is one of the best engine's ever made,

    Default April fools!

Time to take the knot out of your panties! The "evil twins" were built for quiet laker fun. Sam was closest to figuring it out...... Congratulations!
    Have a great racing season!

Well Tim, I was there, where were you ? Dennis (RIP My Friend) is the only APBA driver killed in FEH. Dennis ran both APBA and AOF. Remember, you run wildcat as much as anyone if not more. Not sure if you still do, I kind of stopped keeping up on that stuff with the contacts I had.

At any rate, I will believe you on the 56 cuber. I have no use for it unless I rig one up on a pleasure craft. I think you know a little more about the 56 CI than I do, I know you have had experience in them compared to myself. Your brother in law was Dave Hammond if memory serves. Please correct me if I am wrong. So one again I will bow out to the experts and let the class go the way you guys want it. If it gets to out of hand I know of two other organizations that will and are all about keeping it in check.

Danny, if you want any help on that three holer hollar. You have as much experience as us on these engines, so I suspect you know pretty much everything there is to know about them as well. I agree, one of the most bullet proof engines built. Keep them slightly modified and they won't burn pistons, break skirts, knock heads off, throw rods, or fail much. If John was running a stock engine and was going that fast it is proof the class should stay cheap and everyone should be able to achieve a season such as his.
