The top photo I believe was from Nick Cripp's race in Miami in 1986 or 87? Hill ran over Mike in that race. Billy drove the boat with the dual plug heads.

There's a picture of Benny driving the 16' Allison with spoiler (Mercury 150XS) on the Allison Boats website.

That's a great picture with some faces I hadn't seen in a long while.
I don't think this was Nick Cripps Miami race . . . Billy and Michael ran their american Bud Light colors there, not the Budweiser colors they ran in europe.

That was a neat deal racing two weekends in succession (Nassau / Miami ) with everyone in their own boats. The logistics of getting all the boats shipped to the US, then the Bahamas, back to the US. and back to europe was an adventure (who says you cannot put a rag over a 1-7/8 trailer ball and tow a 50mm european trailer on the interstate!) but it was worth it all.

Bad weekend for Steve Kertin. His boat had a pickle fork ripped off in shipping, his boat builder came from England to fix it, and Steve crashed it first thing. Some weeks are just like that I guess . . .
