    Default 45 mid

Need to see how the short fishin mid is modified to buid the 45 mid. Mine is sitting in the mill and ready to go!! Anyone got a pic from the bottom. How tall, wide is the snout cut. How do I get a nose cone from Ron for my lower unit.

Contact "POPS990" with a PM for info on cutting down the midsection.

Are you going to run a fishing lower unit or an SST45 gearfoot?

I know that! I built a 15" twin to run on my new 14' skiff. We built a pad on it and a stepped transom. Boat ended up weighing 160 lbs. Used a 100 block and did a little port work and added 3/8" finger ports. With the 60 hp carbs and 200 lbs of compression the motor is very crisp. Still need to rig the boat.
