Default Johnson RS Help - Questions

I'm getting close to finishing up the RS for the 1970 Molinari and I have some questions for the pros. I am running a Wilbur Weeks block (the RS block is up stairs) and want to run his dual plug heads. I mounted the dual coils on a bracket and hope to fire both coils from the power pack. I've been told it will do that OK.
Q-1: When looking at the CDI web site it lists a 1978 and 1979 version 235 hp motor. The PwrPk, stator, trigger etc are all different. 78 listed as PP3/6 and 79 listed as CD3/6 - what's this mean???
Q-2: I'll talk with CDI's technicians, but does anyone have a recommendation for what electronic's P/N's I should run?
Q-3: On the orange coil wires, I see that CDI has the P/N's for the boots and terminals. Were these wires run across the heads to the switch box, or routed up and over? They appear to all be the same length, and only long enough to go across the head to the SW box.

Q-4: FlyWheel TDC - timing: I believe the FW has a TDC/timing sticker on it, but mine has no markings that are obvious - no sticker. I have a dial indicator, so locating TDC is no problem. I do have the pointer mounted. What should the trigger advance be set to? Can someone give that to me in inches on the dial indicator BTDC / degrees?

Freddie recommended 35/72 jets when I bought it.

Please feel free to pass along any other set-up things / tricks / advice you may have.

The difference in the cd's for 78 and 70 is the fact that one is a plug in and the other is a screw pack, the boots and clips for the coild are available from OMC also,

    Roger,

Can you step back and give us some pics of the boat & rig?

I haven't done much with the hull yet, but will post a picture of it when we towed it from NY to TN. I put the motor on to re-rigged the boat and now have removed everything and started to strip the paint. Thus, it really isn't worth taking a picture of. Gary Pugh wants me to re-deck it, but it really doesn't need to be done. I'm going to paint it the same scheme, so there is no natural wood that shows (except the interior). I need to get motivated and get the @#*@ paint off it. I'm still thinking about having Gary do his thing with this boat too. He's got to do Miss Windy 1st though. I did make two fuel logs today to feed those hungry 6 carbs.

Bill - Will try to get back to you later this week. I had some unexpected developments that will consume my time for a couple of days. Sorry for the delay.
