Can you California Guys tell me anything about the Elsinore Boat company?

I have coveted the boat (Elsinore race boat) in the photo for many years. I have a VR-45 that is close enough to the engine in the photo, now I need the boat. Any vintage ones left, or helpfull information to replicate the hull?

Is it safe to say the hull was blue?
