More photo's from Laughlin River Days, May 1985

It is tough posting these without a tear because almost every driver have since passed away. I feel it is important to post these photo's nonetheless.

Harry Christensen K-462 and Roger Glover K-21
    My father, Tom Conant PC-230
    Ron "Mad Dog" Bolton K-9
One picture has Harry Christensen in K-462 going in front of big Byron Bronson (yellow hat) standing on the point announcing the event in 112 degree temps, he was the most entertaining announcer of his time.
Jim Padget driving for Richard Thompson in Rolling Thunder II K-290
Dark Side of the Moon K-90 was being driving by Mike Patterson or Dave Rankin at the time I believe....not Bob Long.
Stuck a Cracker in this post for Scott Schatz....Don't know the driver/rider was, but boat was P-76 Short Circuit
The last picture is one of my favorites of Harry Christensen

More Photo's of Laughlin River Days, May 1985

PC boat almost hitting checkered buoy was John Grahalva (hope that's how ya spell it)

I always had to get a photo of the K-28 "Epidemic" a Revenge hull built, owned, and driven by Bob Goettel, if it was present.

CJ 327 was driven by Bill Pagett (not the K-Boat Racer from above) driving a D'Cucci hull. After the finals the winning boat came to the point in front of the Pioneer Casino to get his flag for a victory lap after a televised interview with Byron. Nice clock!!!!!

Even more photo's to follow later this week.
