    I found this picture on a phonograph record on eBay. I recall seeing the same boat flipping in a magazine spread.

    Scott/McCulloch 590 or 630 (or the 1962 predecessor), don't know the boat maker

    Yeah, that is the picture I was thinking of. Pretty sure you are right about the number. Look at the number in my pic, might be a piece of paper taped over the original number.

    WOW GREAT POST BY POWER CAT HAD TO READ THE STORE OVER AND OVER. DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHERE GARY FERGUSON IS NOW? I MET HIM WHEN HE WAS WORKING WITH JACK OXLEY. BEEN A LONG TIME. THE GOOD OLD DAY OF THE LONG RACES. (PARKER 9 HR, SALTON SEA 500, LAKE HAVASU) THE MORE MOTORS THE BETTER UP TO 5 (STYLCRAFT WITH 5 McCULLOCH 75'S) I HAVE THE POWER BOAT MAG WITH IT ON THE COVER. I WILL TRY TO SCAN IT AND POST IT. WELL BACK TO WORK FOR NOW KEEP UP THE GREAT POST

    I think the 5 88hp McCulloch 630's is already on here somewhere. I know it is on Screamandfly more than once.
