    Default rotaries

    Wayne:
I never actually worked at SWR. I was in Chicago at the Natural Gas Institute. They wanted an outside opinion on the progress SWR was making on their funded rotary project. Believe it or not, I'm still working with rotaries. I can't say much at this time because of confidentially. No, it's not me in the boat, it Tommy Posey.

That Johnson ad shows a rotary on the back of a Baja "blowover special".

Wonder if this was just a boat painted up for advertisement and promotion purposes. I like driving fast boats but I think I would pass on the Baja with 300 h.p. on it!

    Default T.A.R.T. boat.........

I think Wayne was asking if it was John Schubert or not. That is a very distinctive logo just like John Schubert is a very distinctive person...........

Yeah Charley. Sorry John Sheldon. Too many Johns in the story. I was referring to John Schubert in the pit shot in the boat with the TART pit man and I didn't take the time to make myself clear.

I'm glad to hear you're still working with rotaries. I always loved my Mazda RX2. I thought they were fabulous motors, and the work on the engines and transmissions both were precision pieces of machine work.

    Well, that is nice.

I got one of these, New Old Stock with Paperwork. Started on ether but that is all.

MAC Wankel 10. Italian 70s leg etc.

Brought into Perth Western Australia for our Avon Decent in the 70s. Too much power so were banned straight away.

Always wondered if stacking the Sachs one on top of each other would be a good idea.................
