    Default questions on yamato RB/C -5

    hi there guys just ben looking around for a 500cc engine and seen soe picsof the yamato , doesnt look like many are around
    q1 can you still get them hough your yamato dealer
    q2 where they as reliable with in reson of the 302
    q3 are they competive with the koings and konnys
    q4 what sore of proformance did the have ie hp , touque
    thank ou for any infromation

    No, not even parts. They have not been made in years.
    No, hardly anything is as reliable as a 302; esp alcohol fueled motors
    No to current motors (Konigs have not been made in a long time)
    About 45 ft lbs of torque, 90 hp @ 10,000 ... current GRP (Rossi) motors are getting close to double the power
    Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.

    They are made in Italy. I do not know if they have a sales agent in Australia.
