Puzzled

Just finished dissassembling a 45" powerhead assy I picked up from a local dealers bone yard. ( $10).

noticed that powerhead had been into before so I expected the worst.

Found 1 burnt piston, BUT both the pistons in this block appear to be from a 56" triple.

Am I missing something as far as a "better " piston ?

1975 has 3.06 bore with pistons that look like the old 49ci.
I have two of the old 1975 twins, cast rods and cast crank

This was a mid 80's , '100' block, w/ 56" 3-cyl pistons in it,

What goes ?
