    I like the Sleeper. What motor was in it?
    Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.

    It had a 390 FE Ford then now it has 466 Ford Big block runs 65-70 MPH on GPS depending which prop I use.

    very nice,will put some pics of what i started with,can you think what my wife said when i took her to see it,wont repeat it, it was not very nice!!!!!!!!!!,thanks for the pics of your boats.

    Is the SK175 running shotgun pipes? I did not see a collector there, but it maybe my eyes again....

    The boat ran in the F-Service class, ran sometimes with the E - Service boats because of the lack of boats. We also ran some marathons in the north, ran Grand Island, N.Y 27 miles 1961 brokke the record averaged 73 MPH.
    The boat was a 18 ft Chris runabout 95 HP and we converted it to F- Service boat 1956 375 HP
