Yeah it is real good, but not relevant to the original subject of this thread.
Sort of like torque and torque ... the torque you use to tighten a bolt vs the torque a running motor makes when you are measuring power.
Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.

My impression was that he wasn't clear on the term. And a squish effect can be had (with varying degrees of difficulty and practicality) in an old deflector engine, a newer deflector engine (such as the few Merc 850 fours that were used in F classes for a time), and both flathead and OHV 4-strokes.
