Both look awesome, but I sure hope you are not investing a lot of money for a wood boat paint job.

I like the yellow one too. Gives it a little punch.

I like how you racers in the UK really get techincal on the paint schemes for your boats, with professional sketches like these. We did a boat for Alan Marshall and the art boards he sent were absolutely spectacular! The work that went into them was awesome.

Below is the paint scheme he chose from that group, but this was for a fiberglass Mod-Vp, and this wasn't done in paint, it was done in gel coat.

Since the deck mold and the hull mold had to be sprayed up at different times, this made matching the stripes VERY difficult. But we pulled it off!

Designing paint schemes for race boats - with all the hidden panels and changing angles, is more difficult than most people think. Make sure you leave some room for all your sponsors

I see what you mean, but it will not cost to much as the painters do a lot of work for Comtec so I guess they will be kind on the bill, so far then its the yellow and blue out front.

Side note, and something I learned through experience: Boating magazines LOVE boats that are bright and stand out on the water - and yellow is one of the most popular they choose to place in articles. It looks very good in print
