I built a small MOD VP some years ago I have a load of pictures during the build, maybe even still have the drawings somewhere. I'm away from home at the moment but will scan and post them as soon as I get home.

It's gunna be the terror of Lake Hodges with the intent that more can be made and raced.....Probably not APBA races....

My thoughts are to make this boat a Mod VP, but, don't have much other than a guess on how wide and deep to make the tunnels, and should the gunnel be an inch or so shallower than the bottom line assuming the bottom would be a Vee???
Bill, I notice that even on high hour 31.8s they usually show little wear at the sleeve [unlike its little cuz the 22] They are vulnerable to heat tho & will scorch quick so be sure its watered. Otherwise a good play motor with enough torque for a larger driver that will go on & on w/o needing much. Regoion 8 has a class for these on several type boats.

    John:

That would be great! Thing just got a little easier...I found a 12 foot shallow V boat, almost flat bottom cheap, some genious cut a hole through the deck like he was making a bas boat or something....But, the bottom is cutable!

How did the Mod VP perform?
