The link is the wrong one. It does not take you to the sale, it just opens an email to send to the seller
Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.

OK, tried again....So, do this....Go to Craigslist San Diego.

Search Johnson Outboards. About 15 down from the top you will see the most bizzare weapon of the water you have ever laid eyes on, and couple to it is a 45SS motor, looks weathered but I'll bet it's never seen a race.

That made me cringe just looking at it.

I would think the motor is worth the asking price if it is good shape. It is a pretty funny looking boat

I looked at all the photos and it made me realize that there are things that I will do, things that I would do on a dare, and things that I would never do. Getting in the cockpit of that boat and driving it at high speed falls in the last category.

    Interesting boat though.

Hence the term " Weapon of the Water" Can you imagine how that thing turns with those pontoons rather than hard chines?

OK, it has turn fins at the back of the pontoons....But the gas shock in the middle of the steering wheel....Is that "the club", like someone might steal it?

With the telephone numbers on those stickers, it was probably owned by someone whose recycling company sold to one of the bigger ones around here. Both are valid prefixes for Escondido and Valley Center, where the boat is located....I've left several replies to the owner, and if he answers, I could be the new proud owner...For 50% of the prociepts, how much do you think the boat will bring at the recycler? Closest person without going over gets the prize....
