    Default wiseco pistons in the65hp block

    any one had troubles with the wiseco pistons part# 3115 in the 65hp eveinrude 3" bore,,, was messing with my racer and noticed the intake hole in piston leaves the exhaust port open also..... there by short serciting the port,,, is there a differnt piston i should be useing for the 65 hp block,,,wiseco list the same piston for 65/70/75 motors with 3" bore,,,thanks

    well they can't be the same because the 65 had a domed piston and the rest are flat tops, you sure that the piston is just not marked wrong the intakes in all those pistons should be in the same place, I think I have a new set of OMC .030's for that motor

    well i had wiseco in motor/65 block when set record didnt have this problem,,, soo wondering if any one knew if wiseco maybe changed them a bit or??? what ya asking for the ,030 over set??... also other engine guy up here had same prob with a 70 block MMMM thanks for the reply
