Love the work--who wouldn't?--but I'm concerned about the transom clamps you made. The stock Merc parts are forged, which adds considerable strength. Seeing yours are milled from a block of aluminum makes me concerned for their durability.

the clamps look cast from hear, billet is pressed down, rolled smaller to condense it.............

You have me figured out John. Error on the safe side.
They are cast per the patterns on a previous post from 356 or 359, memory is slipping, and heat treated to T6. The are also about 50% thicker and deeper over the transom.
Also the bracket on the back engine cut out pocket is for the trailing rudder.
