There seems to be two #45 in Div. VI, entry #15 and #29. For those of us watching from the beach; will there be an "A" and a "B" added or will one of them have to change their number?

I assume you are asking how the inspecter might check it, not what's the difference between the 2 types.
The port configuration can be seen by removing a spark plug and looking in the cylinder with a light. The difference between the port configurations is very obvious. I think anyone who places well will also be torn-down to check head CC's, so the ports can be examined then as well.
I thought we really opened the Parker 300 up by starting jet boats in Division I. They have been the talkers for the last 3 years! With the big head start, you would think there would be a bunch of entries. My money still goes to a GN boat if it can only finish it will be Number 1. We are down to just a few days before the race, is it possible that we could get a look at an updated entry list? Capnzee

It looks like Division I has one boat
Division II has 8
Division III has 6 (*9 with John Soares, John Lane in the 48 boat and Chad Hill in the 9 who have not entered yet!)
Division IV 5 boats
Division V 5 boats
Division VI 5 boats...
Mike Avila has raced two boats for the last three Enduros...Al Stoker's boat is ready to bea Divison III boat or Division VI
Brad Menet has raced Division three the last two or three years....He may enter Division I yet....
I counted Ben Marrone as a Division IV, not sure that is right!
Seems like some JETS from Havasu might show up!!!!!
I don't see
I'm guess between 40-50 boats will start!!!

Yes, you are correct, those with the same numbers are being contacted to change or add a digit to their number.

As to that note Ross I think that we will be running a differnt number than #7 I think it will be # 38 but I am not apposed to running 7x again this year if needed. I see that Bill is back with his # 7 boat. Even though this year I signed up first and have the option I will willingly default to him for the #7.
thanks
Pat Bowman
That makes two of us.
It would be reasonable to assume that the first person registering with a number owns that number and a later registrant must change his/her number to be in compliance. Further, adding an X will not suffice as the computer will not take letters. A person changing the number , for example number 7 must change to 77 or for that matter 71, 72 or change the number completely to 38 or whatever. etc. Mr. Bowman, you are a gentleman for offering to change your number!
