While south in FL I saw a Mark 50 re-sleeved, re-pistoned and restored as a 44 cubic inch engine. The head wasn't altered other than for sleeves and pistons clearances if it needed it. I had a Mark 50 with a bad cylinder where it cost $80.00 to resleeve it with one cylinder back in the early 1970s and it worked very well too. The Mark 50 is remarkable as another generation of the type of blocks that started as a KF9 then KG9, Mark40 and finally the Mark 50 then there was the departure though the innards crankwise parted their ways between the KG9 and Mark 40. I wonder what it would have been if the KG9s crank type and weight would have kept going into the Mark 55 and related later series 4 cylinder engines? KG-9s could spin up real fast in their day and as padded block Alkys they just shrieked.

Well over the weekend David and I went to a barn sale. Seems like we wound up with another load of racing engines. We wound up with 4 20-H's, a KG-4H, a KG-7H, a 25XS, 30-H, two speedmasters, a Chrysler 150 racing lower unit, a bunch of stacks for 4 and 6 cylinders, lots of Q towers, and who knows what else. After we go through the items and rebuild/or restore them we will be offering them for sale. I have posted some photos so you can get an idea of what we might be selling.

I have a Konig foot that was owned by B. Wilson that is stamped 12:15 B SPR that is completly disassembled. I hope to put the unit under a new "C" mod that Doug Kay is building for me but need a bit of help. It looks like I have most if not all parts for it. I was wondering if anyone has a parts manual and assembly instruction for the lower unit. It has a used set of 12:15gears, a new set of 12:15 and a new set of 14:15 gears. Most likely I will build it 12:15 as the case was stamped. Any help would be greatly appricated. You might check our web-site for things that we have forsale aeroliner-boats.com.

There are parts lists on the Konny and Rossi web sites. Here is an old Konig parts list

One thing I think you will need is a set of shims from Steve Litzel
