Ever get your hand made out of wax at the fair? My step son was 8 when he got his hand made of wax at the Orange County, California Fair. The wax was 12 years old when I saw it. I said tio myself, "Self, if the sun comes through the windon and hits that hand, there will be no hand..." So, I decided to cast it in stainless steel.

Is this cool or what???

Saw that at lunch today Ron, very cool piece. Would make a good nose ornament for a 120!

When I met Dr. Laurie Stern, more than three years ago, I realized she had many memories and all the little things, like picture from her past and her children's past.

One thing that stood out was a WAX HAND that her son had made when he was four years old. I wondered how many people have had wax hands made, and thought they were "WAY COOL" only to have them break or melt on a hot day.

So, I decided to cast Alex's wax hand in stainless steel and polish it. It turned out "Way COOL" for sure....

Hill Marine's Investment Foundry can cast and polish your son's or daughter's hand in wax too, for $119.95 free shipping in the USA. All you need is to send your child's wax hand, and we'll do the rest...

Here is the hand before it was polished...

I think you got to much spare time these days, but it would make a good trophy for one of your boat races..:):):)

I made trophies, too!

See what happens to a wax hand when it is hot out???

In my spare time, I plan to make some very cool boat racing trophies!

I have never seen these at the fair before. I am going to have to keep an eye out when the fair rolls around next year and get one done for my lil guy. very cool! :)
