one of the best moves you can make.tons of bottom end power, mid range is good also

On the powerhead swap you'll need to ream out through holes - the 56.6 uses 3/8" studs instead of the 5/16" used on 49.9's.

Tim, I understand I think what you are saying, but I am looking at using the SST 60 P-Head, adapter plate, with the SST 60 Tuner. Sorry if I am not explaining the right way or being confusing...

Hey Cheney, Sure enough, prop diameter doesn't matter. The better measurement is true bottom to blade tip. Just be sure to keep enough skeg to maintain steerage. Pretty much sounds like a surface drive - no gearcase drag. Sounds good to me!
