mercury 90

i have a 00 90hp mercury i cut the mid 12in iam looking for a little gearcase thanking about 45sst gasecase or 40 merc gearcase does anybody have any ideas i have a 12ft custom v pad boat thanks:):)

sounds cool, 90hp / 12ft should keep you awake.
short mid deffenitely the go on a small vee boat.
dont think the 45sst gears will last on a big cube motor.
look around for a 60hp 3 cyl 49.8 cu in merc box, they are 1.83-1.
or even better; some later 50/60hp 3 cyl 60 cu in merc boxs were 1.64-1.
both are small hub 3 inch dia, and fairly good ratios for a small boat to keep the blade area down.
lots of good props around, Ron does some realy nice ones like for thunder cats and stuff.
