sst90 modifications

Just asking a question, does anyone know or know of anyone who has played around with a sst90 eg put a set of duel thoat carbies or injection.

We did play with the SST-90 way back when it was new. We eventually did add 2 barrel SST-140 carbs but it was simpler to just add a V-6 powerhead than make adapters to fit on the little block. Why bother with the low performance 3 banger. We could run better with just 3 cylinders of a 2.4.

I supose I went into this project with the sst90 the wrong way, I run my boat in a 1250cc class and after running a sst60"s and running with M31"s I looked at the sst90 as a motor that may do the job as it realy is just a straight 6 Twister cut in half or a 1/2 V6 without all the extra unused weight.It looks like I have ventured into an unknown area but I would a
appreciate any input you or any one else may have to try to up the performance.
