I recently aquired a De Silva boat and some old Mercury motors. I have tried doing some research to find out more and came across this website. Wondering I can get a little help regarding the value of this boat and possibly an age or year it would have been made?

It appears to be in really good shape as it has been covered and stored for the last 10-15 years, maybe even more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

From the numbers on the transom, my first guess is A Stock Runabout. The pics posted are very large and you have to scroll over to see it all, makes it hard to see it all at once. My guess it was hull number 17, built in November of 1987.

Value is probably around a few hundred bucks to $700 depending on the hardware in the boat.

This is purely a guess on my part. But I think it looks small enough to be an A class stock runabout. These boats use a 15 HP engine by Mercury or OMC currently. Of course they are not stock as in you can buy them from Mercury or OMC. They have racing gear boxes, and are blueprinted by various people throughout the U.S..

Hope this helps. Someone on here will msot likley know the boat and or owned it.
