Organized secretly by Cornelia Küffner (pitmama), mother of Hans Küffner-McCauley,
the better part of McCauley and Son Racing. Celebration took place 21-23 Feb.
in a house on Galveston Beach. Attendees were family, racers and former racers,
antique outboarders, physicists and just friends. Various personalities could not
be there but called (Edgar Rose and Jim Nerstrom). A big surprise of the
day was the appearance of 'Fast' Louis Collins and his Frau, who presented SJ with Big Boy
mementos and an appropriate t-shirt. Other guests brought plenty of food,
wine and beer. I will not name the persons in the photos as either they are
extremely well known or else are totally unknown. And I just realized: pitmama had no way of
knowing that she should have invited Wayne Baldwin, as all his email is in a special
(König) folder!
