OK guys what should I sell this for. I have what think is a new V1 SSM gear case. Only numbers I can find are T80L154 4/5 C/R. It has 8 studs up. Looks new. Has break in tag with instructions for to break in. Has no oil plugs. Does look like it has ever had any gear oil in it. No oil leaking out of plug holes. Water pump housing has number 46-38632 on it. No marks on drive shaft. Light soiling on case. Prop shaft brite with nut and washer. does not look like it ever had prop on it. Looks like the one in Mercury hi pro book #1657-821964A8. Looks to fit SST120/S2000/ champ/S 3000.

I know used # 6's generally go for $1500.00 +. Once in a while you find a deal.

Thanks largcar91. How about some other estimates. Is it a popular unit and still inuse for racing.

It is very difficult to put a price on speedmasters. $2500 seems to be the price people are using for what is supposed to be a good used unit. With that said, What is a "good" unit? That I will leave to the buyer and the seller to determine.
